Good to Know

Age, Skin and Permanent Cosmetics retention

Every man, woman and child regenerates skin cells in the range of 22-50 days, the average being about 28 days. The skin renewal cycle is influenced by age, lifestyle, and overall health condition, and exposure to sunlight. Skin with longer regeneration cycles tends to retain in the skin longer.

Oily, Loose and sun damaged and lax skin will most likely blur stroke in microbladed eyebrows. Oily skin tends to have less pigment retention due to the increased sebum production of the sebaceous glands and thickening of the epidermis.

Lifestyle and hygiene factors, such as sun exposure, peels or treatments, accelerate the cell regeneration process and decrease pigment durability and retention.
